About

Our Story

House Port emerged from a vision to create modern, sustainable housing that blends innovative design with environmental responsibility. Founded by artist Hally Thacher, the concept was inspired by the desire to offer an affordable yet aesthetically refined living space that prioritizes energy efficiency and sustainability.

The centerpiece of these homes is the signature House Port metal roof structure, which not only defines the architectural style but also maximizes energy performance. Over the years, House Port homes have evolved to integrate advanced technologies like solar energy systems and Tesla Powerwall storage, positioning them as pioneers in eco-friendly homebuilding.

Thacher's commitment to eco-conscious design has led to the development of homes that include modern sustainability standards, aligning with LEED certification standards. House Port homes have since gained recognition for their sleek, minimalist aesthetic, innovative construction, and environmentally sustainable approach.
